LSC Cricket Success with Cardiff & Glamorgan
Cardiff/Glamorgan, sponsored by LSC, claimed the MCCU T20 title by beating Loughborough by 18 runs then Oxford by six wickets on finals day in Leicestershire. The semi-final featured a hat-trick for Cardiff Met student Tom Friend.

Residential Training
Students are invited to attend a management training workshop in the final semester of the BA (Business Studies) programme. In the workshop various soft skills are imparted including communication, presentation skills, leadership, negotiation and creativity. A formal corporate enviornment is simulated in the workshop.

Young Entrepreneurship Scheme
All final year LSC MBA students and MBA alumni are encouraged to consider entering a yearly competition to win an investment of £25,000 in a new business scheme. This should be a real business opportunity and a carefully planned future operation. The winner can then use the investment in a practical business operation in their home country.
